Ocular Emergencies

Eye emergencies include cuts, scratches, and objects within the eye, burns, chemical exposure, and blunt injuries to the eye or eyelid. Certain eye infections and other medical conditions, like blood clots or glaucoma, can also need immediate treatment. Eye injuries maybe physical or chemical damage to the eye which will be serious threat to vision if not treated appropriately on time. most obvious presentation of ocular injuries is redness and ache of the affected eyes. Intraocular foreign bodies do not cause ache because of the absence of nerve endings within the vitreous humor and retina.
